WSD implements air filtration units for wildfire smoke protection

Due to failing HVAC systems and thick wildfire smoke, the Wenatchee School District has deployed over 260 box fans with filtration units across district buildings. Superintendent Kory Kalahar stated that three HVAC units failed at Wenatchee High School right before the school year started, prompting immediate action.
