21-year-old man arrested in Bridgeport stabbing

Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eladio Marroquin in connection with a stabbing outside a Bridgeport Quick-E Mart that left a 35-year-old local man with a puncture wound to his lower back. Three other individuals—Monica Marroquin-Mercado, Iris Gail Marroquin, and Heliodoro Luquin Xhurape—were also booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree assault and criminal mischief. Surveillance footage reportedly captured members of the group confronting the victim outside the store.
