East Wenatchee standoff ends after cigarette break

A wanted man with three outstanding misdemeanor warrants was arrested following a standoff at a residence on North Baker Avenue in East Wenatchee. Police surrounded the home and eventually negotiated his surrender after granting his request to smoke a cigarette. He was booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center.
